The 2013 NFL Draft wrapped up this past weekend, but three more College of the Canyons products signed on with teams on Monday as undrafted free agents.

Former COC players Lou Alexander, Marquis Jackson and Caylin Hauptmann all inked with NFL teams two days after another COC product, Mychal Rivera was selected by the Oakland Raiders in the sixth round of the draft with the 184th overall pick.

Alexander signed with the New Orleans Saints as an offensive lineman out of Syracuse. He played for COC in 2008 and 2009 after graduating from Highland High in Palmdale.

Jackson signed with the Minnesota Vikings as a defensive end out of Portland State. Before that, he played two years with Texas Southern, which followed a one-year stint with COC in 2008. Jackson had 10.5 sacks that season with COC and was named All-State Defensive Player of the Year.

Jackson graduated from Birmingham High in Lake Balboa.

Hauptmann was signed by the Cleveland Browns as an offensive lineman out of Florida International. He played for COC in 2009 after graduating from Beverly Hills High.

All three players, in addition to Rivera, will join their teams’ offseason rosters, which can included up to 90 players through training camp.

Those rosters must be trimmed to 53 players by the start of the NFL season in September.
