Former College of the Canyons wideout Mychal Rivera heard his name called today at the 2013 NFL Draft.

Rivera, who spent the last three seasons playing for the University of Tennessee, was chosen by the Oakland Raiders with the 16th pick of the sixth round, the 184th overall pick.

The wideout caught five touchdowns last season on 562 yards receiving for the Volunteers.

During his three year career, he grabbed 76 catches for a total of 1,018 yards and six touchdowns and was named to the 2012 Coaches All-Southeastern Conference first team as a senior.
