A brush fire blackened 5 to 7 acres of land in Stevenson Ranch Saturday afternoon, according to an official with the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

Supervising Fire Dispatcher Kyle Sanford said the blaze was first reported around 3:20 p.m. in brush near the intersection of Pico Canyon Road and Stevenson Ranch Parkway.

Fire crews responded to the incident in force, with multiple engines on scene. Helicopters also arrived to drop water on the fire.

The fire was fully doused by 4:37 p.m., Sanford said. There were no reports of injuries or structural damage as a result of the fire, according to Sanford.
