High winds kick up dust in the faces of spectators huddled under heavy coats and blanckets at the Hart High School vs. Golden Valley High School girls softball game held at Golden Valley High School on Tuesday afternoon in Santa Clarita. Hart High won the game 10-0.

A wind advisory will remain in effect until mid-afternoon today, National Weather Service forecasters said.

The Santa Clarita Valley will see northwest to north winds 15 to 25 miles per hour with gusts up to 40 miles per hour through the morning, after which winds will begin to die down.

Isolated gusts will hit 50 mph in some areas.
