Assemblyman Cameron Smyth, R-Santa Clarita, announced the launch of his new Web site, which can be found at www.assembly.ca.gov/smyth.

The new site features embedded audio and video clips, news and press release archives and a more user-friendly navigation system.

"Communication is an important aspect of serving my constituents, and this new Web site provides a number of tools to help me communicate more effectively and efficiently with people in my district," Smyth said. "I'm able to provide updates about what is happening in Sacramento, and it gives my constituents an opportunity to share their thoughts with me directly."

Among other items on the site is a home-page banner featuring a photo of Six Flags Magic Mountain, which was taken by local artist Gary Choppè.

Currently, the home page features a video of Smyth discussing the state budget and the need for structural reforms. Smyth said that he plans to provide regular video updates on the home page, on a wide range of topics.
