Crown Valley Road in Acton was a busy place this morning with traffic collisions reported on both the north and southbound lanes of Highway 14, emergency response officials said.

California Highway Patrol officers received reports of a multi-vehicle crash on the highway’s southbound lanes just south of Crown Valley Road shortly before 7:30 a.m. today, according to a CHP spokesman.

Paramedics with the Los Angeles County Fire Department were dispatched to the crash at 7:25 a.m., a spokeswoman said.

“It came in as a three-vehicle collision,” she said.

There were no reports of injury or people trapped, she said.

The crash blocked all southbound lanes of commuter traffic for at least half an hour.

While crews were mopping up, a second, unrelated traffic collision occurred in the northbound lanes of the highway, also at Crown Valley Road.

That collision happened about 8:45 a.m., also with no report of injuries, the Fire Department spokeswoman said.
