Members of the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors voted Tuesday to move forward with a Santa Clarita effort to annex into the city more than 200 acres of uninhabited land in Canyon Country.

With a unanimous vote, supervisors voted to refer the Norland-Robinson Road annexation application to the Los Angeles County Local Agency Formation Commission, which has the final say on whether the annexation will be approved.

Supervisors also approved the transfer of $1,401 property tax revenue from the annexation area to the city.

The Norland-Robinson Road annexation area is located south of Highway 14, east of Oak Spring Canyon Road and west of Sand Canyon Road.
