Court proceedings have been continued in the case of a Canyon Country man accused of attempted murder after allegedly stabbing another man in February 2012.

Raymundo Soto, 35, appeared in San Fernando Superior Court on Thursday, at which point his case was put over until Monday, a court clerk said.

In addition to attempted murder, Soto is also charged with assault with a deadly weapon and two misdemeanors: one for concealing a firearm and one for carrying a loaded firearm in a public place.

Soto was confined to a wheelchair at the time of the attack but no longer requires one, according to court documents.

He remains in custody at Men’s Central Jail in Los Angeles in lieu of $1.08 million bail.
