Blood pressure: Provided by registered nurses, free blood pressure checks are administered every Wednesday from noon to 1 p.m.

New classes at the Senior Center

Senior Center annual campaign

Art exhibit at City Hall

Art exhibit at Town Center
"Torched Whimsical Welding" features the metal sculptures of Dianne Fedoraro and is located in the Town Center Art Space. The exhibit will run through March 8.

‘Nature Abounds' art show
The County of Los Angeles, Department of Parks and Recreation, presents its second art show with "Nature Abounds" at Tesoro Adobe Historic Park in Valencia. The show is sponsored by the Santa Clarita Artists' Association and will run through Saturday. Hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. Entry is free.

Man and Woman of the Year
Nomination applications are available for the Santa Clarita 2009 Man and Woman of the Year. The award honors men and women who have given outstanding volunteer service to the Santa Clarita Valley area. The winners will be announced at a recognition dinner May 8 at the Hyatt Valencia. Boy and Girl Scout Dodger game

Santa Clarita Track Club meeting

Annual No-Tap Tourrnament

Samuel Dixon Family Health Centers, Inc. reminds the community that it offers targeted health care services for men, including diabetes treatment, preventative health care treatment for heart disease and stroke, and counseling/support for smoking cessation.
