Starting Friday, Santa Clarita Valley Dodger fans can take a free bus shuttle service between Union Station and Dodger Stadium.

The shuttle will be offered for every Dodgers home game and will be free to ride for anyone who has purchased a valid Dodgers ticket, said Tony Bell, spokesman for Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich.

The shuttles run from Union Station in downtown Los Angeles to Dodger Stadium, Bell said. Service will be provided starting 90 minutes prior to the beginning of the games and will end 45 minutes after the end of the game.

“This year we have a dedicated lane for these buses that makes it an even faster and more convenient way to get to the game,” Bell said.

This is the fourth year Antonovich, who also serves as the board chairman for the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority, has partnered with Metrolink to sponsor the shuttle.
