Assemblyman Cameron Smyth and Sen. George Runner are conveniently exempt from the state furloughs.

Since they are not working out a budget solution anyway, I urge them to take two days a month off without pay.

If the furloughs are necessary, I am sure they will do this, but I won't hold my breath.
