Stimulate whose economy?

A recent disclosure by the Associated Press states that banks that received federal funds are requesting visas for workers from out of this country to fill the positions of laid-off American workers.

One must wonder just who will be receiving all those jobs that will supposedly be created with the new stimulus legislation. Who will build the bridges, resurface roads, refurbish our ailing transportation system and so on.

Also I would like to know what countries will supply materials needed to accomplish these goals?

Protectionism is now a dirty word. Most of the world is concerned that they will not be included in our spending package. "Buy American" is frowned on by our government.

If you ever wondered when or if the USA would welcome One World ideals, you no longer have to wonder.
Mr. President, I want to hear you say this spending bill will put Americans back to work. So far I only hear you say it will put people back to work.
