Canyon Country West Crime Report: Man threatened at gunpoint

This past week in Zone 7, the following Part-1 Crimes occurred:

(1) Aggravated Assault, (2) Commercial Burglaries, (5) Vehicle Burglaries, (2) Theft from unlocked Vehicles, (5) Shoplift, (1) Grand Theft and (2) Petty Theft

An aggravated assault occurred near the 26400 block of Carl Boyer Drive. A male Hispanic suspect pulled alongside the victim and pointed a handgun and threatened him. The case is currently under investigation.

A commercial burglary occurred near the 27700 block of Camp Plenty Road. An unknown suspect entered a classroom after shattering a window. The suspect attempted to take a projector, however he was unsuccessful.

There were three window smash vehicle burglaries that occurred over the weekend in the Rainbow Glen Drive/Flo Lane area. An incident also occurred near the 20200 block of Gilbert Drive. A witness saw several suspects shatter a window of the victim’s vehicle. Two suspects fled into the nearby hills and two others fled to an awaiting vehicle and drove away from the scene.

Another window smash vehicle burglary occurred in a parking lot located near the 18600 block of Via Princessa. The victim left a purse on the driver side floorboard.

Five shoplift burglaries/thefts occurred at local stores throughout Zone 7. The five incidents resulted in three arrests.
