Commuters traveling southbound on Highway 14 Tuesday morning encountered a number of screws loose in lanes after a construction truck flipped over on the off-ramp at Newhall Avenue, emergency response crews reported.

No one was hurt in the crash that involved a pickup truck and a white van, a spokesman for the Los Angeles County Fire Department said.

Shortly before 9:25 a.m. Tuesday, officers with the California Highway Patrol received reports of an overturned pickup truck on the off-ramp, according to the CHP.

Crews with the city of Santa Clarita were called in to clean up “screws all over the highway,” according to one sheriff’s deputy to help the CHP at the crash site.
