Los Angeles County firefighters responded to a brush fire with visible flames between West Ranch High School and homes on the northern edge of Stevenson Ranch, quickly dousing the blaze Thursday afternoon.

The fire was reported shortly after 2 p.m.. Fire officials received reports of “smoke and fire” at the end of O’Hara Lane, a cul-de-sac in Stevenson Ranch north or Stevenson Ranch Parkway.

The fire was out by 3:30 p.m. There was no report of injury or structural damage.

Firefighters from fire stations in Saugus and Stevenson Ranch responded to the fire.
