Input sought on proposed environment ordinance

The Los Angeles County Department of Regional Planning will be hosting a community meeting Monday to gather the public's input on proposed county ordinances that help promote a sustainable environment.

Proposed policy changes include green building principles, drought-tolerant and native landscaping requirements and mandates for low-impact development.

The meeting will be held at the George A. Caravalho Sports Complex at 20850 Centre Pointe Parkway from 6 to 8 p.m.
