'Tis the season for migrating Canada geese to return to the Santa Clarita Valley, where they are particularly fond of the Bridgeport area in Valencia. Sometimes they can be seen walking across the street.

Two water features and plenty of grass on each side of Newhall Ranch Road at McBean Parkway draw Canada geese, mallards and coots back and forth across the busy throughway. City officials ask motorists to slow down and be cautious in the area.
