KFI's Bill Handel to speak in Santa Clarita

Congregation Beth Shalom of the Santa Clarita Valley is proud to present Los Angeles' number one morning news/talk radio personality, Bill Handel, in its next Distinguished Speaker Series engagement on Saturday, March 21, 2009, at 8 p.m.

Handel is the popular host of KFI AM 640's "Handel on the Law" and "Handel Yourself in the Morning" programs, and was recently named Radio and Records News/Talk Personality of the Year. Best know for offering "marginal legal advice" and his take on current events, he is described as being highly informative, hilarious, edgy and entertaining.

In addition to his success in talk radio, Bill Handel is a renowned expert on the legal aspects of Reproductive Technology and has provided legal counsel for several hundred cases of third party reproduction. Handel serves as director of the center for Surrogate Parenting, Inc. & Egg Donation, Inc. in Encino, California and Annapolis, Maryland, which has been helping couples become families for nearly 25 years.

The CBS Distinguished Speaker Series has presented such renowned guests as actor/director Leonard Nimoy; radio commentator Dennis Prager; and father of slain Wall Street Journal reporter, Daniel Pearl, Dr. Judea Pearl, who is the founder of the Daniel Pearl Foundation. A Distinguished Performance Series was introduced last fall with the appearance of Grammy-award winning singer and songwriter Doug Cotler.

Tickets for the March 21 Bill Handel event are now on sale. Seating for this event is extremely limited - reserve your tickets today! Advance purchase general seating tickets are $40.00.

Also available (in limited quantities) is a Santa Clarita Patron Package, which includes reserved seating and an exclusive wine & cheese reception with Bill Handel prior to the event. Patron Package tickets are $90.00.
