The majority wins elections

Regarding the column from Tim Myers published March 2, "Does the election date change favor the incumbent?":

What counts in winning elections is not the minorities as much as the majority. Yes, the minorities helped, but the majority won the election.

The ploy that the Democrats played before the presidential election was that they asked Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to come to the United States, ask to meet the president of the United States, and not be disappointed if the meeting was refused.

In the long run, that will serve the interest of Israel.

A refusal as such will give the majority of Americans the impression that the president is not willing to cooperate with Netanyahu. That will definitely prove that the Democrats are not for a war.

The majority of Americans voted Democratic, and the Republicans lost.

In a poor defense, the Republicans sent their candidate to Israel twice and spoke more about improving defense.

Usually I vote Republican, but failed to do it this time because President Obama refused to meet with Prime Minister Netanyahu.
