With respect to Dan Thomasson's commentary on the Army. Good article. Redirect the accusations.
Most of us would agree with him to giving those vets the benefits. However, he misplaces his blame in naming the Army as the villain.
Congress has the power to change the law, not the services. The Army finance types (Navy and Air Force, too) act on laws created by Congress. They took what little leeway they had in not collecting the previous payments.
If you want those vets to get paid, call or write your congressman/woman.
While I'm at it, thanks to those who have, and are, serving.
