Former city manager to be ‘roastee’ for Samuel Dixon fundraiser

Former City Manager Ken Pulskamp will take the hot seat this year as the “roastee” for the 15th annual Elks Club roast to benefit the Samuel Dixon Family Health Centers Inc., organizers announced Wednesday.

The March 23 fundraiser will be is hosted by Mayor Bob Kellar. Funds go to the Samuel Dixon network of low-cost health clinics around the Santa Clarita Valley.

Roasters will be Don Fleming, Ken Striplin, Steve Arklin and John Heys. Attire can be Western wear, business or cocktail party appropriate.

Cocktails will be at 6 p.m., dinner at 7 p.m. and the roast at 8 p.m.
