Hunger Defense Fund has merged into its parent charity, Help the Children.

As of Jan.15, the Santa Clarita facility started using the name, logo, tax ID number, and Web site of Help the Children.

Hours of operation, food distribution and volunteer opportunities will remain the same, and donations will continue to support the needy in Santa Clarita.

Hunger Defense Fund was established in Santa Clarita in 2002 to provide food, clothing, and personal hygiene supplies, and has merged to reduce costs. For more information, visit www.helpthechildren.org.
