Officials from the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station, city of Santa Clarita and Hart High School will partner to stage the latest “Every 15 Minutes” event Thursday.

The event seeks to warn students about the dangers of driving while intoxicated, drunk or distracted, as well as driving recklessly.

Part of the presentation is a simulation of a collision scene.

That simulation may lead to traffic delays in the area of Newhall Avenue between 14th and 15th streets between 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
