A motorcyclist was taken to the hospital Sunday after he crashed his bike in Stevenson Ranch, Fire Department sources confirmed.

About noon, paramedics with the Los Angeles County Fire Department received a report of a single vehicle motorcycle crash near the intersection of Faulkner Drive and Hood Way, said Supervisor Clyde Taylor.

“We transported one person to the hospital,” Taylor said.

One firefighter who responded to the incident from Fire Station #124 said the man was treated at the scene for injuries to his ankle and shoulder.

He described the injuries as minor.
