Democratic Party is the mean one

If Mr.Gandelman ("Can the Republican Party rebrand itself?" Jan. 31) feels obligated to criticize the Republican Party, he should look at the behavior of the Democrat Party as well.

The Democrat Party is not "democratic." It is the MEAN party.

The liberal Democrats, including the news media, trashed Sarah Palin and her family, and amazingly she stood up and faced it all. They still defame her.

She must have been a real threat to the liberals. If she were a Democrat, she would have been glorified.

They viciously attacked Romney as well.

We know the liberal plan for the Republican Party. Bully us out of existence so the Democrats can win back the House and hold the Senate.

Then they can try to repeal the 22nd Amendment to the Constitution so Obama can run for a third term, or perhaps be president for life. The reigning ethos of this movement represented so ably today by Obama is this: "By any means necessary. ..."

The Democrat Party has the social media, the "main news media" (MSM), academia and the unions in its pocket. We have portions of Fox News and talk radio, who must be a threat to the Democrats as well, since they are also in their cross-hairs.

Bobby Jindal’s remark about the Republican Party as the "stupid party" is because "compromise" means the Republicans "cave" on an issue. If the immigration reform bill does not pass, it will be the Republicans’ fault regardless of who voted against it. If it passes, it means more Democrat voters.

I think allocating votes defining the real representation of Congressional districts is a terrific idea. The Dems are just sorry they did not think of it first.

Regarding the past election, how about the hundreds of thousands of military ballots that sat in a warehouse for a month, then they were accidentally (?) labeled as ammunition and shipped to Afghanistan.

Democrats know the military vote is overwhelmingly Republican, so that is why they work so hard to impede the military vote.

So, Mr. Gandelman, tell the Democrats to clean their own house before they start criticizing the Republican Party.
