Roman Holiday hopes to re-open soon, said one of its owners.

The cocktail and wine bar closed Jan. 18 when two of the three partners decided to exit the business.

It’s currently undergoing a change in ownership, said Gunner Resendez, the third partner.

Located at The Patios at the Westfield Valencia Town Center, Resendez said that while he can’t give the public an exact date as to when Roman Holiday will re-open, he is working on a new contract to change the ownership.

When the business opened in January 2011, the owners had a lease contract on the space signed for 10 years. There are eight years remaining, Resendez said.

“The mall’s location is one of the better ones in the Santa Clarita area,” he said.

When Resendez re-opens the business, he also plans to make some menu changes and extend hours, but not raise prices, he said.

“We appreciate customers’ patience, and all gift and wine cards will continue to be honored,” Resendez said.
