Fire crews quickly doused a house fire that broke out in Newhall early this morning, according to a fire official.
Melanie Flores, a dispatcher with the Los Angeles County Fire Department, said crews responded to the 24200 block of Cary Court around 1:58 a.m. after a fire started in one of the house’s bedrooms.
Crews were able to fully extinguish the blaze at 2:25 a.m., Flores said. By early afternoon there was no official estimate on the amount of damage caused by the fire, he said.
All of the home’s residents escaped when the fire started, and no one was injured in the incident, Flores said.
