One man suffered minor injuries today in a three-truck pileup on Interstate 5 near Gorman, emergency personnel said.
Shortly before 3 p.m., three semi trucks collided in the northbound lanes of the freeway one miles south of Gorman School Road, a spokesman for the Los Angeles County Fire Department said.
“Initially, we were called out for a collision involving a semi,” said Inspector Quvondo Johnson.
“When we got there, we found we had three semi trucks involved,” he said.
Paramedics were dispatched to the crash at 2:55 p.m., he said.
“There appears to be one minor injury.” Johnson said.
Officers with the California Highway Patrol described the man’s injuries as “moderate.”
