Valencia High senior safety and four-year varsity starter Tedric Thompson confirmed to The Signal this morning that he has accepted a scholarship offer from the University of Colorado.
Today marks National Signing Day, the first day where high school seniors can officially sign a letter of intent and Thompson made the decision on Monday.
The All-Santa Clarita Valley and All-Foothill League first-teamer chose Colorado after also considering the University of Minnesota and Fresno State.
Thompson took an official visit to Minnesota, where his brother Cedric Thompson and friend and former Valencia High defensive back Brock Vereen currently play.
Canyon High wide receiver Drew Wolitarsky committed to Minnesota last week.
