Horse trapped on bridge at Nature Center

A horse fell while on a pedestrian bridge at the Placerita Nature Center. A veternarian and members of the county Fire Department were able to free the stuck horse. A horse walking across a pedestrian bridge at the Placerita Nature Center fell, which caused three of its hooves to go under the wood railing and trapped the animal.

A veternarian was contacted and - with the assistance of the Los Angeles County Fire Department - was able to free the stuck horse.

The horse suffered injuries to its lower legs, but they did not appear to be serious.
