Members of the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors took time during their meeting Tuesday to recognize and congratulate the members of the Saugus High School girls cross country team for winning their latest state title.
The team won its seventh straight CIF state title in November and went on to finish 17th at the Nike Cross Nationals Meet in December.
Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich presented scrolls of recognition from the county to each of the members of the team.
Members of the team have also previously been recognized by the Santa Clarita City Council and the William S. Hart Union High School District board for their win.
