A Valencia woman had the rear window of her car shot out Sunday by someone armed with a BB gun, a local sheriff’s spokesman said.

Shortly after 2:20 p.m., a shooter described as a white male about 19 years old shot out the window of a car on the 24000 block of Montevista Circle near Decoro Drive, said Lt. Tom Bryski of the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.

No one was hurt in the incident, he said.

“He shot the informant’s car window,” he said.

“They left the gun,” Bryski said, referring to deputies who found a BB gun near the shooting scene.

“They apparently know who they’re looking for,” he said.
