Why should our grandkids have to pay for $200 million for lawn care in Washington, D.C., or $360 million to potentially put on transsexual beauty pageants and erotic art shows?
California's Nancy Pelosi argues this 1,500-page bill would "stimulate the economy." However, only 7 percent of the legislation actually goes toward infrastructure - the rest of the bill reads like a taxpayer-funded payoff to groups that have supported liberal Democrats' interests.
This payoff scheme is loaded with goodies for groups like $4.19 billion for ACORN and $87 billion of your future taxes for Planned Parenthood to hand out for contraceptives - to kill future taxpayers.
Meanwhile, Speaker Pelosi helped stop an amendment to the bill that would have protected parental rights. God help us.
