CHP officers cleared the scene of a truck fire on Highway 14 that was reported by passing motorists, a California Highway Patrol spokesman said.
The fire was reported shortly before 3 p.m. by motorists who said the southbound vehicle was on fire and smoke was coming from beneath it, a Los Angeles County Fire Department spokesman said.
The truck was on the right shoulder of the freeway when firefighters responded. CHP officials reported there were no injuries, and the scene was cleared by 4:30 p.m.
