Canyon Country crash sends 2 to hospital

At least two people were taken to the hospital this morning following a two-car crash in Canyon Country, a local sheriff’s spokesman said.

Shortly after 9:45 a.m. Wednesday, at least two cars collided near the intersection of Sierra Highway and Via Princessa, said Sgt. Rich Nagler of the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.

Paramedics with the Los Angeles County Fire Department were dispatched to the crash at 9:46 a.m., said fire Inspector Quvondo Johnson.

“We got the call as persons trapped but paramedics found no one trapped,” he said.

Emergency crews from two Canyon Country fire stations arrived on the scene at 9:50 a.m., Johnson said.

“Two patients were transported to hospital,” he said.
