The fair is designed to help attendees learn how healthy their heart is and what they can do to reduce their risk of developing coronary heart disease.
The fair offers free heart health education materials, smoking cessation information, and a series of health screenings, including blood-pressure monitoring, height and weight analysis, body-fat analysis, oxygen saturation and carbon monoxide measurement, cholesterol test (12-hour fasting recommended), glucose test, heart health summary and healthy diet tips.
In addition to the screenings, hospital staff will answer questions and hand out health summaries so patients can record their results.
