MORGAN HILL, Calif. (AP) — A GPS tracker in an Apple iPad has led police to a California parolee with a booty of stolen electronics in his home.
The San Jose Mercury News (http://bit.ly/UuPEFl ) says Morgan Hill police used the Global Positioning System feature on Monday to find 33-year-old Alfred Maldonado Jr.
When they arrived at the San Jose home, they found a stash of more than $7,000 worth of stolen electronic gear.
Maldonado is in the Santa Clara County Jail, where he was booked for investigation of stolen property and violating parole.
