Los Angeles County firefighters knocked down a house fire in Agua Dulce within 30 minutes on Sunday, a spokesman for the station said Monday.
At 6:49 p.m. Sunday, firefighters at Fire Station 81 in Agua Dulce received a report of a house fire, said Capt. Frank McCarthy.
“It was a chimney fire that went into the attic and then to the roof,” he said.
No one was hurt, McCarthy said.
In freezing temperatures, firefighters concentrated their efforts on the attic of the large single-family dwelling at 10726 Cleat Road in Agua Dulce.
The cause of the fire was under investigation and the loss was being tabulated.
