I have always admired Mayor Bob Kellar and how hard he works for the residents of Santa Clarita.
My appreciation has deepened as I watched how he carried himself against the misinformation and innuendos regarding his Statement of Economic Interest filings.
He failed to check a box on his FPPC Form 700. The form has a category for "income" that reads: "Gross income: $500-$1000; $1,001-$10,000; $10,001-$100,000; and over $100,000." Wow! That's really enlightening information! Does anyone really believe Kellar was trying to hide something?
To Bob Kellar's credit, he quickly rectified the situation and took responsibility. That is what I am looking for in a public official.
Santa Clarita is a great place to live, and I plan to vote for Bob Kellar for City Council in April.
