A two-car collision closed the-on ramp of Calgrove Boulevard to southbound Interstate 5 for about an hour Saturday, according to an official.
Officer Ed Jacobs of the California Highway Patrol said the collision occurred at 2:18 p.m. Saturday.
One of the cars overturned in the crash and one person was trapped for a time, Jacobs said.
One person suffered facial lacerations during the crash, but the extent of those or any other injuries is unknown.
“But when a car flips over there are usually injuries,” Jacobs said.
Officials from the Los Angeles County Fire Department had the on-ramp blocked off beginning at 2:33 p.m. The ramp fully reopened to traffic at 3:32 p.m.
