The Fifth Supervisorial District of Los Angeles County is sponsoring free bus services from Santa Clarita to Los Angeles on Tuesday for those interested in attending the public hearing on the county’s proposed storm water cleanup fee.
Anyone interested in a seat on the bus must RSVP by 4:30 p.m. today. Members of the public can RSVP via email to cfrench@santa-clarita.com.
Buses will pick up protesters at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Santa Clarita City Hall, Santa Clarita Valley Senior Center and the Santa Clarita Valley Chamber of Commerce.
The public hearing on the storm water cleanup fee is scheduled for 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Kenneth Hahn Hall of Administration in Los Angeles.
Supervisor Michael Antonovich, who opposes the fee, is sponsoring the free bus service.
