A woman was taken to the hospital Tuesday afternoon following a two-vehicle crash on The Old Road south of Calgrove Boulevard, police and fire officials confirmed.

About 2:30 p.m., a Honda Pilot SUV and Dodge Charger collided on The Old Road near Weldon Canyon Road, said a spokesman for the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

“We responded to traffic collision, persons trapped,” he said.

A woman in her early 40s who was in the Charger suffered a leg injury and was taken to Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital, according to a man who witnessed the rescue by firefighters.

Paramedics treated at least three other people — including the driver of the Pilot, — for minor injuries at the crash site.
