Activities

The SCV Senior Center is located at 22900 Market St., Newhall. For a detailed monthly calendar, call the center at 661-259-9444. All the following activities will occur at the SCV Senior Center, 1 p.m., in rooms A1-A2 unless otherwise indicated.

Screening: Blood Pressure noon to 1 p.m., A-6

Wednesdays from noon to 1 p.m., blood-pressure checks held, Activity Room 6. Every other Wednesday from 11 a.m. to noon, hearing screenings held, Supportive Services modular.



Monday through Friday, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., the SCV Senior Center offers lunch prepared by Le Cordon Bleu-trained chef Joanna Vallelunga. There is a suggested donation of $3.50 for Center-registered seniors aged 60 and older, and $5 for unregistered seniors and non-seniors. The menu is viewable at www.scv-seniorcenter.org. Additionally, home-delivered meals are available to homebound seniors in the SCV, for a suggested donation of $3.50 per meal.
