With the “Academy Awards” show fast approaching, I thought you fellow movie aficionados would be interested in knowing which movies we will have to leave our valley to see:

“Silver Linings Playbook,” “The Impossible,” “Intouchables” (Gold Globe Award nominee for Best Picture), “Amour” (also nominated for numerous awards), “Hitchcock”, “Moonrise Kingdom,” “Anna Karenina,” “The Sessions” (recipient of the Critics Choice Award) and “Hyde Park on Hudson.”

However, in our valley, “Monsters Inc.” is in three theaters and “The Hobbit” is playing in five.

You can sign me “Frustrated and Annoyed.”
