Santa Clarita Valley resident Steve Petzold is organizing a Frisbee golf fundraiser Saturday to benefit the family of Kevin Korenthal, who was severely injured in a bicycle crash near Sand Canyon Road last weekend.

The fundraising tournament will be held at Central Park, 27150 Bouquet Canyon Road.

Attendees should meet at the park beginning at 10 a.m. The suggested buy-in for the event is $20.

Petzold said he has about 10 confirmed attendees for the event, with about another 10 who have indicated they were interested in attending.

“Anybody from the community can participate,” Petzold said. “It will be a fun thing that will also help support a good cause.”

Pezold said he hopes the event will raise a few hundred dollars for the Korenthal family.
