Building permits of 899,000 in November were up nearly 29 percent from the same period in 2011. The permits were also up nearly 4 percent from the revised October rate.

Actual housing starts in November 2012 were up 21.6 percent from November 2011, but down 3.0 percent from the revised October estimate.

And housing completions in November of 677,000 were up 16.1 percent

Over November 2011, but 9.7 percent below the revised October estimate.
