Combat Radio’s second annual Celebrity Christmas Breakfast was held at Salt Creek Grille to benefit Family Promise and Toys For Tots.

The event attracted nearly 300 guests to meet and greet celebrities and to eat a breakfast of pancakes, eggs, bacon and sausage served by staff members of Salt Creek Grille who volunteered their time.

Santa arrived in a bright red fire truck courtesy of Los Angeles Fire Department Station 126 to the cheers of waiting children.

He was greeted by a Johnny Depp look-alike impersonating Depp’s Jack Sparrow character from the “Pirates of the Caribbean” movies.

Celebrities performed and posed for photos with event guests. Life-size radio-controlled figures R2-D2 and Wall-E fascinated the young children and adults alike who gathered outside Salt Creek Grille.

Ethan Dettenmaier, founder of Combat Radio, said the event was held to benefit homeless families.

“We never say no to anyone, we try to help as many people as we can” he said.

Rick Mora, who portrayed Ephraim Black from “Twilight,” was a repeat attendee at the breakfast.

“Ethan has the most amazing organizations in need of help,” Mora said. “I look forward to this event every year, the chance to bring smiles to these children’s faces.”

Actress Stephanie Erb of “Twilight” said she came to meet Santa.

“The holiday season is all about giving,” she said.
