A natural gas leak from a main line break sent firefighters to an area near Lost Canyon Road and Lark Way in Canyon Country on Monday, officials confirmed.
No homes were evacuated, said Lt. Tom Bryski of the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.
No one was hurt in the incident, according to a spokesman for the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
“We were dispatched to a gas main break at 1:32 p.m.,” he said. “It’s a new home construction south of Highway 14.”
Gas Company officials were on the scene at 1:43 p.m.
By 2:07 p.m., officials at the scene reported the leak capped.
