California Institute of the Arts has been ranked among the top 50 colleges in the United States.

CalArts was ranked 35 on the recently released list compiled by TheBestSchools.org.

“We selected schools that focus mainly on providing an excellent education to undergraduate students,” said Brian Jenkins, senior editor of TheBestSchools.org.

“During the selection process we gave great consideration to the prospects for personal enrichment and advancement that await students after graduation, but we also stressed factors such academic rigor, freedom of inquiry and expression, quality of faculty, school reputation, and job prospects for graduates.”
