Authors Dr. Alan Pollack, Kim Stephens and E.J. Stephens will host a free talk on the history of the Santa Clarita Valley and colorful characters who have lived here on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at the Newhall Library.

Newhall Library staff and community members will join in the event, which will focus on tales from the three authors’ recently released book “Legendary Locals of the Santa Clarita Valley.”
